Feifei Ji Artist & Practice-Based Researcher
I work across drawing, voice and performance. My drawings develop through movement and sustained attention—to a sound, a surface, or the situation around me. Some begin in silence. Others take shape among voices and moving bodies, leaving marks that can be encountered after the moment has passed.
For now I am working on what passes between us when we cannot fully explain what we experience. Literary fragments, chance procedures and computational processes enter my work as materials to work with. A phrase can be voiced differently; a drawing can be returned to through movement. I follow what these encounters make possible, and what remains unresolved.
