Feifei Ji Artist & Practice-Based Researcher
I work with voice, mark and computational trace to investigate what passes between bodies when meaning remains unsettled.
Through performance, drawing, sound and responsive systems, I explore how differently legible literary fragments are voiced, heard, misread and transformed.
Drawing on chance operations and multilingual voicing, my practice allows listening-generated marks to return as scores, altering what happens next between performers.
Rather than assuming that change constitutes response, the work asks when incomplete understanding, embodied trace and computational variation become relationally consequential.
