BREATH MARK

Drawing, movement and listening

I begin drawing without deciding what the image should become. These drawings are not composed images, but accumulations of gesture.

They emerge through repetitive movement, breath, and environmental exposure.

The marks do not represent sound; they register how breath, listening, and environmental exposure reorganise bodily pressure, rhythm and duration.
